I have a copy from the Library ” Dye making with Eucalypts” by Jean Carman circa 1985 …what a legend this woman is. The book covers every state in Australia and Papua New Guinea, she has cataloged each variety ( that she has tried ) and the resulting colour with 3 different mordants . From the information I have gathered so far I have ordered 6 different trees to grow in our garden some from Victoria, Tasmania and Queensland varieties. I now look at trees in a slightly different light….
Another library book is “The Handbook of Natural Plant Dyes” by Sasha Duerr this one is full of great information and ideas, I will have to find this one to purchase (I doubt if I could find a copy of Jeans book)
